Welcome to The George Inn, Norton St Philip.

The George Inn is situated just six miles away from the Roman city of Bath, it has offered hospitality to weary travellers and celebrities, historical and to date, for over 700 years and is reputed to be one of the oldest continually licensed Inn's in the country.  This grade one listed building still retains all character, charm and quirkiness with open fires and a warm welcome.

We run a relaxed Inn with an emphasis on good food and drink, and we welcome all - whether for a drink, coffee, lunch, dinner or to stay. We offer two menus, one in the Bar and the other in the Dining Room. We strive to source our produce locally and endeavor to make everything here on site. We are passionate about the George and hope that you enjoy our hospitality.
